In order to ensure the effectiveness of treatment, Entech uses the following QA methodology. Batches are regularly tested for unconfined compressive strength and TCLP leachability after a suitable curing period. Any batch failing these QA tests will be reprocessed by crushing and then re-fixated. It should be noted that all previous immobilisations have been shown to be highly repeatable and have abided by the QA protocols issued in the immobilisation approvals. QA/QC protocols are designed to satisfy regulatory limits at the statistical 95% Upper Confidence Limit (UCL).
